Millbrae, CA - November 20, 1998 - All 56 members of the 1999 Mills Robotics Team attended an introduction to training meeting on Friday. Beginning at 10 AM, members were given packets of information that pertained to their group. Some activities at the meeting included an ice breaker and index card bridge contest to encourage teamwork and communication between the members. After a pizza lunch, members were split into their groups and started their first day of training. Each group has its own training schedule but all share the common goal of having the entire team ready for the upcoming robotics contest. The meeting was an overall success and displayed motivation and enthusiasm for the new year.
